Tanzania is still facing many challenges in education sector due to social and economical problems as such: Poverty ( whereby in some cases parents dare to use their children to do home works or keeping herds in order to earn for living instead of going to school), poor school environment without enough classrooms, Teachers housing scarcity, lack of school supplies as well as qualified Teachers. Eventually these problems affects students by having poor academic performance. In effort to mitigate those challenges in the country, KMT anticipate to do the following:
Children :
Establishing the Bilingual program: – French and English training starting from Pre-school to standard
Adult Education –All ages:
Providing variety of courses:
- French and English language &Computer studies,
- Diverse Trade skills and Entrepreneurship on different business opportunities especially for primary school graduates (standard seven) who do not succeed for further secondary school education as well as the whole community.
- Finance management and Marketing, Hygiene/Nutrition, and Sports.
Therefore, Pre school & Primary school as well as Vocation Training/Academic Center programs will be imperative to be designed and implemented accordingly. Meantime, KMT will always support and work together with other private and the public schools along with the Education ministry to improve the education standards.
