Katallah Mzalendo Trust (KMT) is a Non profit Organization based in Dar Es Salaam, with its Regional Office in Kiomboi Iramba Singida that focuses first on the rural development whereby the population faces diverse challenges mainly related to Agriculture, Education and Healthy along withWater supply, Environment, Power & Infrastructure in effort to eradicate poverty & hunger/improving food security and eliminate Foreign Aids Dependence by having sustainable projects as well as building a healthy economy and vibrant current and future generation.
Initially KMT has determined to realize its vision and mandate at Ruruma Village, as a native land of founders of this organization and also as one of the poorest and marginalized Village in the country without power, reliable water supply, decent access roads nor infrastructure that hinder tremendously the community Development. Later on, KMT intends to scale up and or replicate its operational model to other surrounding villages in Iramba & Singida Region, ultimately all over around the country

OBJECTIVES
- To Create sustainable Agriculture Projects that will empower youths in rural communities that will enhance Food security as well as eradicating Poverty and hunger while eliminating Foreign Aids /Donation Dependence which will lead to have healthy economy for the current and future generation.
- To promote Education initially by creating conducive learning environment in primary schools and establishing Vocational Training Centres.
- Assist in other rural development areas such as: Water supply & Waste Management system, Environment, Healthy, Renewable Energy and Infrastructure.
FOUNDERS
- Joseph Katallah born and raised in Tanzania, studied and lived in Russia, Europe and Canada. He is a multi lingual, an Agriculturist by professional with extensive hands on experience in mixed farming, Teaching, International Trades accompanied with significant knowledge and experience in Renewable energy, project management, marketing etc.
- Co founder: Elizabeth Shani, born and raised in Tanzania working as a Primary school Teacher in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
